BookScanner Book Leveler App App Reviews

As a 4th grade teacher, I love this app. As we get new books for our class library, I am able to scan them quickly and get them labeled and in the hands of the student right away. The app tells the title, author, AR points, AR level, and AR quiz number. I also recommend it for parents to use at home to help your child find books at an appropriate reading level. It doesnt have every book in AR but it has a lot!

I have recommended this app to other teachers in my building. Love it! Not every book is listed but its fine.

This app makes going to the library and bookstore a breeze. No more waiting for the website to load. I recommend this app to all my friends!

As a parent, I just found out that the dozens & dozens of books my son has read at home also have AR tests!! It was so easy to scan & get the level & test #. This will also make it easier to buy books for him in the future (to check that they are on his AR level while standing in the book store).

I am pretty disappointed in this app. It only finds about 25% of the books I scan, and the rest of them I have to go to the website and type in the title to find the AR level. A little upset that I spent $1.99 on this.

I use this app all the time! It is so much faster and easier than going online to find the book! Thanks for such an easy app to use!

I am able to scan books quickly at the library or in the classroom for students. Great for leveling libraries.

Lots of books need to be added. But as a quick check, not to bad!

I wasnt able to scan very many books at all. Very disappointed.

I can look up a book on the fly at the library, book fair, or my own home! I used the app to sort my sons collection into AR and not AR for ease in directed reading activities.

I bought this app to help me catalog all my books for my classroom library and it was better than expected! You can easily scan your books or look up the book by title, author, etc. and it catalogs them for you then you can email and print the catalog! Super helpful on quickly getting the book level and point value!

This app has helped me get my classroom library ready for the new school year! I was able to put all my books in a record and label my books with grade level and AR points all at once! Saved me time for sure!!

I never pay for apps, but when I was given 12 paper boxes full of books from another teacher that needed leveled, I needed something efficient to help me. This app is amazing. The process is going very quickly and nearly all of the books are in the system. I love this app and would highly recommend it to other teachers and parents!

I couldnt get very many books to scan. I keep getting error messages or it pops up with the completely wrong book. I wish so badly that it would work with 15 boxes of books to level!

The app works great, but I am finding that the libraries and book stores place their own bar code stickers over the the bar code on the book. Therefore I cant always scan the book to get there AR info. You still can manually type in the numbers to get the AR info, thats why Im only giving it a 4 star. The app works and its very handy when looking for books in my sons AR level.

Fantastic life saver! I wouldnt be able to check out grade level books for my daughter at the main library without this app. Even though it doesnt have all the books, Book Scanner allows working parents to be on grade level.

When I press scan barcode, it doesnt open up. The app just goes away. Can someone help me with my problem.

I bought the app but then it wouldnt dowload so I went back to the app store and it told me I had to pay even though I already had so im really annoyed.

It is accurate and work very quick if you do AR this will help you out
